Claire is a magical goddess from outer space. The daughter of a mad scientist and a violinist, she has an endless fascination with the intersections between random objects, sound art, performance, and electronic music. This has led her down many meandering paths: DJing, voice acting, composing music for film, writing electronic music, and most recently a project called ///FRICTION where she designed and created bicycles that make techno! DJing for nearly a decade, she has played alongside a diverse range of talents like Tipper, Donald Glaude, Mark Farina, Misstress Barbara, Frivolous, and Pheek at a wide range of events like Soundwave, The Evolve Festival, the Halifax Film Festival, System Soundbar, Hush, Subtonic NYC, and the RAW Temple in Berlin. Her style is fresh and fearless: bass-driven techno mixed with dark electro, breakbeat, and techno haus. Dark, moody, drummy, and always funky, her unique sounds destroy dancefloors and discerning ears alike. Right now, Claire makes her home in Montreal. When she's not busy holding down her two residencies at Laika and Pearl, you can find her bouncing around the universe causing mischief: setting off fireworks, dancing on tables and furniture, flying in helicopters, drinking red wine and having so much fun it should be illegal.
